What We Offer
We take the time to get to know our client families, so that we can build long-lasting relationships. We’re proud to say that many of our families work with us for years.

Initial Assessment
Sign up for a telephone or video chat to talk through expectations, student performance & development, and educational goals. This will determine a starting point for potential work together and a chance to get to know each other.

Test Scheduling
For middle school students, a review of any state testing or non-standard assessments is done to make recommendations for independent and parochial school admission tests. SSAT Flex testing is offered for boarding school applicants. Test-optional or flexible testing policies are also discussed and the test accommodations.

Talent Development
Work with student, coaches, private instructors to support talent (art, music, athletics, service, special interests). Connections to high school coaches teachers are offered, plus age-appropriate opportunities and programs identified.
List Development
Weighing all factors shared by student and family, boarding school lists are delivered the summer or early fall before desired enrollment year.
High School Course Selection
Advice on how to turn emerging interests into strengths during high school, remaining responsive as student adjusts to the demands of high school work.

Boarding School Visit & Interview Support
Advice is provided to maximize boarding school visits, to request and be successful with admission interviews, and to seek out decision-makers and file-readers throughout the process. Boarding school visits will be coordinated through our office after school inquiry forms are completed by student.
Demonstrated Interest Assessment
We identify where and how to demonstrate student interest in enrolling in certain boarding schools. With a campus visit and interview required for most if not all independent and boarding school applications, we help you maximize those visits and suggest follow-up engagement.

Financial Means Awareness
We are not financial advisors or financial aid consultants. However, our experience and knowledge of merit (non-need based) aid, scholarship programs and institutional aid will be brought to bear on final list to maximize aid offered. Boarding school families will be supported with basic submission support for NAIS/SSS Form.

Interview, Showcase, or Audition Preparation
Boarding school students will be supported to meet with coaches or key faculty members during their campus visit. Includes review and submission support of visual/audio portfolios, help with resumes & repertoire required for pre-screening submissions and auditions, highlight video review and talking points for coach conversations during showcases and official athletic visits.

Essay & Application Development
Using conversation, writing / brainstorming exercises, we help a student develop several genuine written pieces about their experiences and outlook. Supplemental essays are also developed after final list is known. A reasonable number of drafts are reviewed for each essay.
Online Application Review & Submission Support
With student-provided login information and adherence to our timeline, a thorough review of online applications is done, picking up typographical errors, and checking for completion. Timely corrections are sent to student for action. (On-time submission of application and payment of fees is the responsibility of students and families.)
